Two Cars Collide in Charlevoix County Intersection

Two cars collided in Charlevoix County Monday afternoon.
A pickup truck and a car were facing each other at a 2-way stop waiting for oncoming traffic to clear before crossing.
The truck, driven by 32-year-old Elizabeth Hickman, was stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Mill Street and US 131 waiting to go straight onto M-75 South.
The car, driven by 33-year-old Amanda Guess, was on M-75 South stopped at stop sign, when traffic cleared they both drove into the intersection hitting one another.
Guess was transported to McLaren Hospital in Petoskey with chest and knee pain, a passenger in the pickup truck was treated on scene for minor neck pain.
