Tragedy on Pine River in Norman Township in Manistee County when two people tried to sled a canoe down a sand hill, Sunday. A 33-year-old Hart man was thrown from the boat when it hit a stump. He died right there from his injuries.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident.
