You Saw It: Ford Recalls Escape SUVs

Ford Motor is recalling 8, 266 redesigned 2013 Escape SUVs to fix carpet padding.

They say the padding could get in the way of brake pedals and cause drivers to hit the side of the pedal when switching from the accelerator.

They will remove the carpet padding and replace a console trim panel at no cost.

The recall begins July 23.
