Two people, including a six year old girl, were taken to the hospital, after their vehicle struck five cows that escaped from a nearby pasture, killing four of them.
The Mecosta County Sheriff's office says the accident happened Friday night, around 11 p.m. on Five Mile Road, just west of 140th Avenue in Deerfield Township.
The driver, a 61 year old woman from Stanwood, and her six year old passenger from Hersey, were taken to Mecosta County Medical Center, with non-life threatening injuries.
