Boyne Thunder Rumbles into Boyne City

Boyne Thunder, the annual "Poker Run" featuring high-speed boats and a weekend full of activities kicks off tonight in Boyne City.

Proceeds from the weekend go to "Camp Quality" which provides children suffering from an illness the opportunity to go to camp.

Tomorrow morning the Poker Run will begin around 9 AM, participants will boat all over the region collecting cards, the boat with the best "hand" at the end of the day, wins.

Since it began the event has raised more than $220,000 for Camp Quality.
