Cherry Chronicles: Rock and Roll Legend Dick Wagner

Posted: Updated:

Few people have actually watched rock and roll grow up and shaped its destiny; one of them is Dick Wagner, fondly called the "The Maestro" by his contemporaries.

Wagner came to the National Cherry Festival to play in his adopted home state (he moved her at the age of 12) and to introduce fans to his new book, "Not Only Women Bleed."

He calls it vignettes from his rock and roll days - which are still going strong, by the way - and he catalogs his journey working with the likes of Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, Kiss and Lou Reed.

We wanted to know more about his work and his life so we chatted him up during this edition of the Cherry Chronicles.
