Man Dies After Getting Pinned Under Tree in Chippewa County

The Chippewa County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a man who was unresponsive.
62-year-old, Alan Doublestein, was cutting down trees near North Whitefish Point Road when a tree fell on him.
The incident happened around 7:30 last night.
When police and EMS arrived they tried to revive Doublestein on the scene but ended up transporting him to Newberry Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
