Hook & Hunting: Turkey Hunting Applications

Applications for fall turkey hunting licenses will be on sale August 1st.

A total of 50,050 licenses will be given out; 3,350 for public or private land and 46,700 for private land only.

Hunters may apply for a turkey hunting license at any authorized license agent, DNR centers or online at www.michigan.gov/huntdrawings.

Application fee is $4 and drawing results will be posted online beginning August 15.

Eight wild turkey management units will be open to fall turkey hunting during the September 15 until November 14 season.
