Cherry Capital Airport Flies Into Busy Season

The summer tourism bring in more than three times the number of passengers as the slow winter months.

The landscape of the Traverse City area combined with the festivals and accolades adding up have made the area a premier resort destination.

The number of flights has ballooned from 20 a day to about 50.

The airport expects more than 30,000 passengers to take off from the airport this month and hold those numbers throughout August.
