Teenager Dies After Being Hit by Car in Montcalm County

Police say a Howard City teenager died after being hit by a car in Montcalm County.
The deadly accident happened early Friday morning on Edmore Road, near Edgar Road, close to Howard City.
Police say 56-year-old, David Schutter from Edmore hit 19-year-old Mariah Kohn from Howard City in the roadway, killing her.
They say Schutter had not been drinking and speed is not a factor in the crash.
No charges have been issued at this time.
Deputies are continuing to investigate the crash and are asking if you saw the woman in the area of the M-46 truck stop early this morning, you are asked to call the Montcalm County sheriff's office.
