The Coast Guard says it caught a man who was well over the legal limit while operating a boat.
The Coast Guard stopped the boat near Mackinac Island shortly before midnight last night.
His blood alcohol content was .19, the legal limit in Michigan is .10.
The boat was towed to Mackinac Island and the boat operator was arrested.
The Coast Guard says enforcement teams throughout the Great Lakes region stopped the voyages of more than 20 vessels since Saturday for both drinking and boating and failed safety inspections.
