The American Red Cross has opened numerous cooling centers for those without power or in need of relief from the hot weather.

Midland has opened a cooling center located at the Memorial Presbyterian Church; 1310 Ashman Street  Midland, MI 48640, (989) 835-6759.

There are 2 cooling centers available in Montcalm County, Greenville Community Church located at 6596 Vining Road is open from noon until 6:00 tonight. First Congregational Church located at 126 East Cass Street in Greenville is open from noon until 9:00 tonight.

Rosebush United Methodist Church is open from 9:00am until 6:00pm.
