Historic Fishtown Sees Rush of Summer Visitors for Holiday

Posted: Updated:

If you're planning a visit to Leland, you might want to set aside some time to find a parking space. The Fourth of July holiday had brought in a sudden rush of visitors to Historic Fishtown.

A small town like Leland doesn't see a whole lot of activity on a regular basis. So, summer holiday's are the time for small businesses to really get ahead. Small businesses say they like to see the streets lined with cars and lots of summer visitors, that's how they are able to keep their doors open.

Lots of foot traffic, and lots of time left for visitors to spend their money in Fishtown.
