Fire inspectors say a lightning strike caused a major fire at Brad Malley Well Drilling located just north of Mt. Pleasant around 5:00 a.m.
It was a 7500 square foot garage that they used to hold equipment, they said they lost a couple hundred thousand dollars worth of tools and two semi trucks.
Most of their well drilling equipment was in the front yard and didn't get damaged.
There were no injuries.
The Malleys hope to have the building rebuilt within 30 days to keep up with what has already been one of their busiest summers.
