UPDATE: Man Accused of Road Rage Facing Jail Time

A man police say hit another driver with a baseball bat in a fit of road rage will spend time in jail.

This is what the van looked like in March after Daniel Downs got a hold of it, it happened in Traverse City.

Police say Downs, of Lansing, lost it when the driver of the van waited too long at a green light.

Police tell us Downs hit a Traverse City man in the face and shoulder with a baseball bat.

Downs will spend 5 months in jail, and a year and a half on probation.
