Child Abuse an "Epidemic"

Child physiologists say abuse is an epidemic in our country.

Most abuse cases go unreported, but clinical physiologist Dr. Amelia Siders with the Traverse Bay Children's Advocacy Center says abuse can be stopped.

Abusive relationships can make people fearful and feel powerless.

Officials say children ages 4-7 and 12-15 are at the highest risk of abusive relationships.

9&10's Kalin Franks takes a closer look at abuse and it's impact.
