CMU men's basketball holds first summer practice

Posted: Updated:

The CMU men's basketball team has undergone quite the overhaul over the past few months with a new coach in Keno Davis and seven new incoming recruits for the 2012-2013 season.

On Tuesday, Davis and the Chippewas were on the court at McGuirk Arena for their first summer practice as a team.

Prior to this year, coaches couldn't work with their teams at all during the summer.  But now, the NCAA allows two hours of full-team instruction and six hours of strength and conditioning per week.  Those new rules couldn't have come at a better time as the Chippewas continue to ease into a new era under Keno Davis.
