Posted: Updated:

The FBI is now working to help find a missing 4-year-old boy in Isabella County.

Investigators say they've identified a person of interest in the case, and are calling it "suspicious."

Carnell Chamberlainn was last seen around 9:30pm Thursday. He was at home with his mother's boyfriend.

Hundreds of people are combing the area around East Tomah Road in Chippewa Township, near Mt. Pleasant.

No Amber Alert has been put into effect because his disappearance does not meet the criteria.

Carnell is a 4-year-old Native American boy, 3 feet tall and has short dark hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing an "Angry Birds" shirt and dark blue or green shorts.

If you have any idea where he may be, you are asked to call Tribal Police at (989) 775-4700.

Coming up tonight on 9&10 News at 6:00, you'll hear from police about how they are treating the investigation now.
