Cadillac Area Public Schools Celebrate Superintendent

Cadillac Area Public Schools celebrated a member of their community today who is leaving after 30 years of service.

Superintendent Paul Liabenow is leaving CAPS for a job in Lansing.

He came to Cadillac in 1982 as a teacher, from there he became a principal and eventually the superintendent.

People at today's reception applauded Paul's hard work and tireless motivation to improve public education.

He was honored with a letter from the Governor for his efforts over the past three decades.

Paul is headed to Lansing as the Executive Director of Elementary and Middle School Principal Association.
