Many Campgrounds and Boat Launches Reopen After Duck Lake Fire

Many campgrounds and boat launches are reopening after being impacted by the Duck Lake Fire.

The DNR says several state forest campgrounds closed during the Duck Lake Fire are completely or partially open again to visitors.

Bodi Lake state forest campground and boat launch, bridge and boat launch at the Mouth of the Two Hearted River state forest campground, Tahquamenon Falls State Park are completely open for visitors and campers.

All state and county roads in and around the areas affected by the Duck Lake Fire are also open.

Pike Lake state forest campground and boat launch, the Two Hearted ORV Trail east of County Road 414, and the campground at Culhane Lake state forest campground are closed because of damage.
