Vanessa Fayz - Northern Michigan's News Leader

Vanessa Fayz joined the 9&10 News team in May of 2012 as a general assignment reporter out of the Traverse City bureau.

Vanessa graduated from Central Michigan University in May 2011 with a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts and a Journalism minor. In college, Vanessa interned at Fox 2 News in Southfield, and WNEM TV 5 in Saginaw, Michigan. After graduating, she worked at WBKB 11 in Alpena, Michigan, where she was an anchor, reporter, producer, and photographer.

Vanessa was born and raised in Dearborn, Michigan. She is excited to be living in one of the most beautiful cities in Northern Michigan, and to be working for Northern Michigan's News Leader.
