Kalin joined the 9&10 News team in 2011 as a web producer and then in 2012 she became the Michigan This Morning reporter. Originally from the metro Detroit area Kalin spent summers as a kid in the Petoskey area and fell in love with Northern Michigan at a young age.
After helping develop social media platforms and launch the brand new 9and10news.com Kalin followed her passion for telling stories out into the field and became a General Assignment Reporter.
Kalin graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in television journalism.
Her favorite part about her job is meeting new people everyday and telling their stories. Kalin loves the outdoors, cooking, Detroit Lions & going on "Northern Michigan Adventures."
