Today, Governor Snyder signed a bill banning the sale of designer drugs such as K2, spice and bath salts.
Originally designed to be a legal alternative for recreational drugs, police and emergency rooms have been flooded with users dealing with health problems and violent behavior associated with the drugs.
The bill will also allow room for future bans if manufacturers choose to tweak the drugs' chemical makeup in the future.
