Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail Addition Opens Wednesday

In just two days, locals and out-of-towners will be able to enjoy a newly built bike-and-hike trail at the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.

The 27 mile Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail stretches between Glen Arbor and Empire.

The new installment is only phase one of the project that is made possible through a 1.3 million dollar federal grant.
