St. Helen Non-Profit Rescues "Kritters" in Need

Posted: Updated:

If you have a heart for animals, a local non-profit could use your help this summer!

The Association to Rescue Kritters, the A.R.K., takes in sick, injured and orphaned wildlife.

The A.R.K. is currently nursing hundreds of local animals back to health, including two eagles, an otter and more than a dozen fawns.

The Executive Director says the early summer weather this season is bringing in more animals than usual.

And they're still looking for more passionate volunteers to lend a helping hand.

Alex Jokich, Corey and Stephanie Adkins were live at the A.R.K. in St. Helen in Roscommon County on Friday morning.
