Thousands of students across Northern Michigan are ending one chapter of their lives as they empty out their lockers, sign yearbooks, and walk across the stage to accept their high school diploma.
Plenty of challenges are ahead.
Some will go onto college, others off to boot camp, and others will immediately enter the work force during a tough time in the nation's economy.
