ELK RAPIDS - Elk Rapids lost to Muskegon Western Michigan Christian in a shootout Thursday 2-1.
Megan Gregorski gave the Elks a 1-0 lead in the first half. However, Western Michigan Christian tied it up in the second half and sent it into overtime.
Nobody scored in the two overtime sessions so the game came down to a shootout. The Warriors outscored the Elks in that shootout 5-4.
With Elk Rapids eliminated the Warriors advance to next week's Division 4 State Semifinal.
