Local Youth Can Soar the Skies for Free at Young Eagles Day

Posted: Updated:

The sky's the limit when it comes to excitement in Cadillac this weekend!

Local youth ages 8 to 17 will have a unique opportunity to take flight for free with an Experimental Aircraft Association pilot.

During the flight, kids will even be able to use the controls to help steer the plane.

International Young Eagles Day is designed to get youth throughout the world excited about flight and interested in aviation opportunities.

Alex Jokich and Stephanie Adkins were live at the Cadillac Airport to preview Saturday's big event.

(International Young Eagles Day runs 8am-1pm at the Cadillac Airport on Saturday, June 9th.  No advance registration is required.  Participants must arrive with a parent on Saturday in order to register.  For more information on Young Eagles or the EAA, check out the links posted on the left.)
