Police: Mecosta County Man & Woman Cooked Meth With Children Inside Home

Posted: Updated:

A disturbing drug case in Mecosta County.

Detectives found ingredients for a meth lab -- and two children -- inside a local home.

On Tuesday, police uncovered evidence that two people were cooking the drug at a home in Paris.

Soon after, officers arrested Brian and Sarah Baker, now accused of operating the meth lab.

During a search of the home, police found several components used to make meth -- along with several guns.

But the most startling discovery of all -- two children, living right inside.

Now, there seem to be two main emotions running through the community.

Overwhelming anger -- toward the suspects.

And sadness, for the children involved.

The children are now with Child Protective Services.

Brian and Sarah Baker are in jail, each facing nearly a dozen felony charges.

9&10's Evan Dean and PhotoJournalist Joel Deaner were in Paris tonight and have reaction of the bust from the local community.
