TBAISD Partners with Two Area Colleges for Early College Program

Posted: Updated:

The Traverse Bay Area Intermediate School District has partnered with NMC and Ferris State to give students a chance to get started on college while they're still in high school. Students can choose from three programs offered at the TBAISD Career Tech Center. Sophomores in high school could potentially earn an Associate's degree before they even receive their high school diploma.

Students will test into the early college program; 75 of each field of study will be accepted each year.

The program is covered by school aid funding, which means it's practically free; making the cost of college much more reasonable.
