One northern Michigan public transit system is hoping you'll get where you need to go this week by using more energy-efficient transportation.
Benzie Bus is participating in the county's "Smart Commute Week" for the first time. They had a "try transit" breakfast this morning to thank all of their loyal bus riders, and to bring in some new ones.
Benzie Bus says the goal is to encourage more people to use a bicycle or public transportation to get around.
