A Mecosta County man just received his high school diploma today.
Fifty years after he dropped out to join the Air Force.
Walter Howe was scheduled to graduate from Morley-Stanwood High School in 1962, he finally did today.
To earn the one credit he needed to graduate, the school asked him to tell the students his story and share why he felt it necessary to get the little piece of paper after so long.
