Frankfort-Based Fruit Processor Wins Competitive Statewide Award

Posted: Updated:

A Northern Michigan fruit processor has more than berries to brag about.

The company just earned a competitive statewide award.

On Monday, the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development named Graceland Fruit the 2011 Exporter of the Year.

The Frankfort-based company beat out 1500 other food processors in the state for the prestigious honor.

Alex Jokich and photojournalist Tony Zyber show us why the natural foods company was the natural choice for this year's award.
