National Cancer Survivors Day Celebrated In Traverse City

Hundreds turned out for a picnic hosted by Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Cancer survivors along with their families had a picnic lunch, and enjoyed the day's events.
Everyone working the picnic volunteers their time.
Different types of therapy took center stage for survivors, including music therapy and massage therapy.
And of course cake was served to celebrate the special day.
Picnic organizers say Traverse City is a community that comes together for its cancer patients and their families and all of today's prizes and services were donated.
