MTM On The Road: Can-Am Invitational in Brimley

Posted: Updated:

It's no secret that Northern Michigan is home to some of the best fishing hot spots in the United States.

Just ask the dozens of professional anglers from both the U.S. and Canada taking to the Lake Superior shoreline for a tournament in Brimley this weekend.

It's a battle between the two nations at the Bay Mills Can-Am Invitational -- one stop in the Anglers Insight Marketing Pro Walleye Series.

The individual winner will walk away with an impressive forty thousand dollars.

But what if you're a rookie angler, with hardly any experience?

Well, there's still some fun in store for you -- with games on hand, including rainbow trout fishing, minnow races, and even a chance to get some fishing tips from a pro.

Evan Dean, Stephanie and Corey were live at the invitational this morning where it's an event for the entire family.
