Boil Water Advisory Set for Hundreds in Isabella County

A community in Isabella County must boil their tap water because of an overnight water main break.

A section of Union Township along Lincoln and River Roads may have contaminated water as a result of crews fixing the main.

One hundred and twenty two homes and two businesses will be forced to boil their water, the township delivered notices to affected buildings.

Animal Health Associates falls in the boil zone and has gone to bottled water for it patients.

The water is only dangerous if consumed, it is safe to bathe or clean with.

The advisory should be lifted by Sunday morning.
