Neighbors couldn't believe their eyes when they woke up this morning and saw a derailed train.
The train derailed at a switch near US-10 in Walhalla in Mason County around midnight Tuesday night. A few roads were closed shortly after, but have been reopened. Four of the 52, 100-ton Marquette Rail train cars were derailed.
Thankfully it was not carrying hazardous material and no one was hurt.
Marquette Rail plans to have the track cleared and operations up and running by Friday.
