Update: Roscommon County Manhunt

Posted: Updated:

Friday 11 PM:  Everett Robinson has been on the run since Monday when police say he attacked a deputy, got his gun, and stole the patrol car.  We have now learned that he also got away with the deputies cell phone.  He made one call on Monday and the phone has been turned off ever since. Police are still investigating that phone call.

There were evacuations Friday morning when several gun shots were heard in the perimeter Robinson is believed to be in.  It was a dead end for police but they are still searching the area on foot, with dogs, and in the air jumping on any tip that may lead them to Everett Robinson.

The most recent sighting of Robinson was Wednesday night on Nestel Rd. in Backus Township.

It's been an exhausting, emotional and terrifying week for Roscommon County residents.

9&10's Ann Marie LaFlamme and photojournalist Joel Deaner have more on the toll these 5 days have had on Roscommon County residents.
