Man Dies After Stabbing in Gladwin County

A man died after being stabbed in Gladwin County.

The stabbing happened around 6:30 Thursday evening.

Ronald Miller, 60-year-old man from Gladwin, later died from his injuries.

The suspect is Douglas Gardner, 49-year-old Gladwin, was living with Miller on Ritchie Road East of Hockaday Road in Butman Township.

When police showed up, Gardner fled on foot but was later captured and police recovered a high powered rifle.

Gardner is being held in the Gladwin County jail for pending charges of murder.
