DEVELOPING NEWS: Morley Stanwood Was Lockdown While Police Search For Suspect

Morley Stanwood School was on lockdown while Police searched for a suspect in close proximity.

Police are on the lookout for a Mecosta County man who led them on a chase topping speeds of 100 mph.

Police tried to pull Alan Phelps over last night for a traffic violation.

They say he crashed into a car, and police stopped to help, that's when they lost him.

He was spotted this morning in Morley, and Morley Stanwood Schools were locked down.

If you think you have seen this man, you are urged to call 911.

Police say, last night a male suspect caused a car accident and fled the scene.
