Search Continues for Wanted Man

Posted: Updated:

There are new developments in the search for the armed and dangerous fugitive in Roscommon County.

Police say someone spotted Everett Robinson on Wednesday evening.

Last night, police were out with helicopters and heat sensors searching the area near F-97 in Backus Township.

Around 5:00 PM yesterday police discovered a deer blind that had been broken into and snacks found inside had been eaten.

They also say they found a bare footprint that is Robinson's outside the blind.

A K-9 unit tracked the foot print south until it went cold.

The Sheriff tells us that yesterday Robinson approached a woman with a gun and asked her to let him into his home.

Police are still searching today for Robinson in Roscommon County. He escaped custody on Monday with a deputy's gun during a jail transfer.

The Michigan State Police tip line is still open, if you see anything suspicious you are urged to call Michigan State Police 877-616-4677
