Colonial Michilimackinac: Memorial Day Weekend Reenactment and More

Posted: Updated:

If you'd like to check out the longest running, free historical Memorial Day performance in Michigan, just head to Mackinaw City this weekend.

The Fort Michilimackinac Pageant has been a town tradition for 50 years.

Hundreds of reenactors from all over the country will recreate the massacre that took place there on June 2, 1763 for a crowd of thousands of people.

In addition, Colonial Michilimackinac has lots of interactive events coming up all summer long for families to enjoy.

Alex Jokich, Corey and Stephanie Adkins were live in Mackinaw City on Tuesday to preview the pageant and show what's new and exciting at the Fort.
