Parents and Legislators Discuss Early Childhood Education

Posted: Updated:

Parents, educators, and local legislators came together on Friday to focus on early childhood education.

The Wexford-Missaukee Area Great Start Collaborative organizes a lunch every year to bring awareness to the issue.

Parents and grandparents shared stories about how the programs have helped their kids.

State Senator Darwin Booher was one of the local legislators at the event. He says funding for early childhood education is crucial.
