Feedback at 5:00- Does Michigan Need New Knife Rules?

Updated:
A Northern Michigan lawmaker wants to modernize our state's rules about knives.
Right now, the law bans switchblades, and carrying or driving around with a knife with a blade 3 inches or longer.
Representative Frank Foster says his bill should clear up and clarify old laws.
The bulk of the bill includes a provision that would exclude regulation of knives for uses like hunting, fishing, trapping, or in a person's job or hobby.
Foster says he doesn't want collectors or people who use knives for their jobs to be criminals under the current law.
Do you think Michigan needs new knife rules? Why or why not? Post your comments below for tonight's "Feedback at 5:00" and tune in to 9&10 News at 5:00 to see if your comments make it on air.
