Drunk Driving Crackdown Leads to More Than 400 Arrests in Michigan

State authorities say more than 400 drivers were arrested for drunk driving during a 3-week crackdown across the state.

Police announced the totals this morning, 79 of those arrested were charged under Michigan's new "super drunk" law.

The legal limit for a blood alcohol level in Michigan is 0.08%, the "super drunk" law is designated for people who are at 0.17% or above.

Officers from more than 165 different agencies participated in the crackdown which ran from March 13- April 2.
