Resignation Approved for Kalkaska County Commissioner

Posted: Updated:

Kalkaska County Commissioners accepted the resignation of a fellow commissioner arrested for driving drunk.

Court records show commissioner Antonio Martini was arrested back in March, in Clearwater Township.

He faces charges under the new Super Drunk Law, that means he's accused of driving with a blood alcohol level at least twice the legal limit.

He cited health problems in his letter of resignation.

Kalkaska's County Commission will hold a special meeting to find a new commissioner.
