UPDATED: Power Outages for Northern Michigan

Due to strong winds overnight, power outages are on the rise again in Northern Michigan.

Consumers Energy- Said that they are quickly fixing the new power outages that happened today. They hope to restore power by 4 p.m.

Benzie- 1,200

Great Lakes Energy- They said that they still have 1,374 total customers without power. Here is a breakdown of the power outages in each County.

Antrim- 325

Crawford- 258

Oscoda- 234

Mason- 202

Kalkaska- 110

Grand Traverse- 75

Newaygo- 69

Lake- 59

Otsego- 33

Oceana- 3

Missaukee- 3

Charlevoix- 2

Osceola- 1

Presque Isle Electric and Gas Co-op- Out of their 9 counties that they cover, they still have about 2,086 customers without power. They expect power to be on by either Thursday or Friday.

Cherryland Electric Cooperative- Cherryland said that they have about 4,000 customers still without power.

Traverse City Light and Power says by 9 Monday night, all known outages were restored. Customers who had the service entrance to their home damaged during the storm need a licensed electrician to have the entrance repaired prior to crews being able to restore service.  

Cloverland Electric says power has been restored to the majority of services impacted by the storm.
