Grand Traverse County Woman Chooses to Forfeit Horses in Neglect Case

A woman who admitted to neglecting her horses has turned them over to rescue groups for good.
Danelle Round admitted to neglecting the animals on her Fife Lake property earlier this month.
Round was in court with her daughter this morning.
Two of Round's horses had to be put down because they were so malnourished.
The surviving horses are being cared for by rescue groups, where they will remain. Rounds' daughter also chose to give up her horses which were found malnourished on the same property in January.
