HS Ski Regionals: 14 local teams qualify for State Finals

14 local high school ski teams finished in the top three at Thursday's Ski Regionals and qualified for the State Finals.

In the Division 2 Regional at Caberfae Peaks, Manistee/St. Francis, Cadillac and Glen Lake went one-two-three for the boys while Manistee/St. Francis, Glen Lake and Cadillac filled-in the top three qualifying spots for the girls.

In the Division 2 Regional at Nub's Nob, Petoskey's boys team took first with Harbor Springs finishing runner-up.  The Harbor Springs girls team captured the D2 Regional Title while Petoskey finished third.

And at the Division 1 Regional at Schuss Mountain, Traverse City West and T.C. Central went one-two for the boys while they flip-flopped in the girls regional with T.C.C. winning the title and T.C. West getting runner-up.

The State Finals are on Monday, February 27th.  Division 1 will be held at Nub's Nob while Division 2 is at Boyne Highlands.
