Kill-A-Watt Kit Reveals How Much Energy You're Actually Using

Think about the room you're sitting in right now and everything you have plugged in to your walls: a TV, maybe a toaster, perhaps even a hair dryer.

All of these items use energy.  Some even use energy when they're turned off.

But do you know exactly how much energy they're eating up on a daily basis?

Alex Jokich and Stephanie Adkins were live in Traverse City to explain a partnership between Traverse City Light and Power and the Traverse Area District Library that's making Kill-A-Watt meter kits available to the public.
